The following terms apply to all services provided by London Express BD. They are summarised here for convenience; full standard trading conditions are available on request. This page is a template — please have it reviewed by your legal adviser before publishing.
These terms govern all freight forwarding, customs clearance and logistics services provided by London Express BD. By booking a shipment with us, you accept these terms in full. Services are also subject to the standard trading conditions of the relevant freight forwarders' association and applicable international conventions.
Quotations are valid for the period stated and are based on the information you provide. Rates may change if the actual weight, dimensions, commodity or routing differ, or if carrier surcharges, duties or taxes apply. All charges are payable as agreed at the time of booking.
You warrant that all information and documents provided are accurate and complete, that goods are correctly described, packed and labelled, and that you hold all necessary licences and permits. You are responsible for any costs arising from incorrect or incomplete information.
Dangerous, restricted or prohibited goods must be declared in advance and shipped in compliance with all applicable regulations. We reserve the right to refuse, hold or dispose of any shipment that is undeclared, illegal or unsafe.
Our liability is limited in accordance with applicable standard trading conditions and international conventions (such as the Warsaw/Montreal and Hague-Visby rules). We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Cargo insurance is available on request and is strongly recommended.
Any claim for loss or damage must be notified to us in writing without delay and within the time limits set by the applicable conventions and trading conditions, supported by relevant documentation.
Invoices are payable by the due date stated. We reserve a lien over goods and documents in our possession for any sums due. Late payment may incur charges and suspension of services.
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh, without prejudice to applicable international conventions.
